Free Fuel For New Cessna 182s
July 31st, 2008
In an effort to avoid losing sales of new aircraft as fuel costs continue to soar, Cessna has initiated two tempting offers for potential buyers of its most popular single engine aircraft, the Skylane T182.
Cessna is offering “Free Fuel until December 2009” as well as a significant avionics upgrade.
For Australian buyers, Cessna’s offer has been translated into a US$15,000 cash discount off the purchase price of the Skylane. According to Aeromil Pacific, which is the exclusive Cessna Authorised Sales Representative for the Citation family and the Caravan, as well as a Cessna Team Authorised Representative for the new generation of piston single aircraft, with the Australian dollar being at a twenty-year high against the US dollar, combined with this factory cash discount, there really is no better time to invest in a Cessna 182.
Steve Padgett, who is Aeromil Pacific’s CEO and Cessna representative, insists that this is not just “salesman’s speak” but says, “Aircraft sales in Australia remain very strong, especially in the single engine aircraft category and this extra factory cash discount is a real incentive to act now. Cessna are not in the habit of offering discounts so with the strong Australian dollar, buyers are in an extraordinary position at this time.”
On top of the cash discount, Cessna is also offering upgraded avionics on the Skylane in the form of the recently launched Garmin Synthetic Vision Technology (SVT), which enhances situational awareness and offers pilots more valuable information via the three dimensional topographical cockpit screen display.
Commenting on the free upgrade to the Garmin avionics, Steve Padgett, says, “Aeromil Pacific has seen a growing trend of mature aviators re-entering the aircraft market or upgrading to newer aircraft. These people are updating their flying skills and want to enjoy the experience; the Garmin glass cockpit and advanced technology like SVT are amazing tools which add a new dimension to their flying.”
The US$15,000 discount and the free upgrade to the G1000 Synthetic Vision Technology are available until September 30th, 2008.
